The physical inventory services that we offer begin with preparations including checking for binning errors, parts without a cost, and identification of parts that are to be excluded from the inventory (obsolete parts, warranty, ect.), and printing of the inventory count sheets.
After the department has been properly prepared we will bring in a trained staff to count the stock. These professionals will provide a dual count of the parts. the first count is a base listing of parts by location, and the second count verifies the first. By using this count/verification system the data is guaranteed to be accurate.
Our service provides start to finish data processing services. These services include running all pre-inventory routines, key-punch of all inventory data, and processing of all reports.
Upon completion of the data entry we will perform a complete review of the parts entered, to identify any keying errors. This review of data includes checks for parts that did not price and checks for parts with exceptionally high dollar extensions, as well as parts with variance against former system on-hands. Upon finishing the review process a final report will be printed. This final report will include a listing of all parts plus additional reports of obsolete parts, ect. After preparing the reports your system will be set for daily transactions by your parts personnel.
